Our Rights

Ever notice how things have dramatically changed since 9/11? I mean, if you did a side by side comparison...

For example, you can't leave your children or pets in the car w/out someone calling the cops or calling it neglect. You can't leave your kids home alone or have them as latch-key kids without calling the same thing. How children can't have enemies or "lists" without someone thinking they are going to do something drastic. Or how long it takes to get to the terminal at the airport now. Or how you can't greet that loved one at the gate, b/c of 9/11. How you can't take liquids on the plane, unless you get it after security. Or how all you hear about is terrorists and threats. How punishments are so severe and swift now? Or how a kid wont' say the pledge of the allegiance b/c it has the word GOD in it? And so much problems with being able to say Merry Christmas instead of Happy Holidays. Or classrooms being able to have parties b/c they are afraid someone is going to poison the class. We have got to take back what is ours. Our country was founded in 1776 on certain beliefs, morals and rights. And we've also aquired certain rights over time. Why are we letting one event take away all that. So what is someone wants to help out their neighbors and watch the kids before school, why should they have to get a license for that? Its called the neighborly thing to do. And why are we so swift to punish kids for wearing a certain thing or looking at a certain way. Get over yourself people. God is apart of this country as much as you and me. B/c of certain morals, our country was created, by taking a chance and believing. Sheesh.
